Overview

Position: Used Car Sales Executive at Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover, Carlisle. Salary: Basic salary with OTE of £55,000. Hours: 45 hours per week, including working alternative weekends.

Role Responsibilities
  • Understand and adapt to the customers’ buying strategy and encourage them to experience the product through test drives.
  • Agree on price and payment methods, including advising on any financing options with the customer directly, working within company guidelines.
  • Ensure that each delivery is completed to the highest standard, with a follow-up personal phone call to confirm customer satisfaction and maintain contact for future business.
  • Plan and organise own daily sales activity (e.g., telephoning sales prospects, previous customers or general enquiries) to obtain new business.
  • Work alongside colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for our customers.
  • Positively participate in training and development opportunities to help the Group achieve its aims and objectives.

  • Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptable to change, and meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high‑quality work.

  • IT literate (PC, Microsoft, and web), and hold a full UK driving licence.
