A leading global financial services firm is looking for a UI developer to join their Sales and Distribution team in Glasgow. This role involves developing analytical tools using HTML5, Angular, and CSS. Ideal candidates will have strong JavaScript skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment. The position offers the chance to engage in the full software development life cycle and requires excellent communication skills.
Morgan Stanley are looking for a UI developer to join their Sales and Distribution team within the Institutional Equities Division. This is a UI developer position (HTML5/Angular/CSS) and will be part of the group that develops a number of analytical tools used by Sales and trading users that provide enriched sector based and stock analytics. All the tools implement technologies such as HTML5/Angular.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate excitement for new technology and an eagerness to learn and should be a self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. The role involves all aspects of the software development life cycle: analysis, design and implementation. They should be able to handle competing demands on time and manage their own work to deadlines. Flexibility in outlook is essential. They should be a team player and have the ability to work collaboratively with teams across geographical areas. They should have a high degree of motivation to expand their technical and business knowledge.
