Job Overview

Salary: Up to £30,000 per year basic, uncapped commission.

Company car: Provided.

Location: Thurrock (RM20). Reliable commute or plan to relocate required.

Licence: Valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the truck and commercial vehicle sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contract terms in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the aftersales team to ensure customer satisfaction post‑sale.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and product developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with brands such as DAF, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, MAN, or Iveco.
  • Proven experience in truck or commercial vehicle sales (B2B preferred).
  • Experience selling commercial vehicles (HGV).
  • Knowledge of HGVs, trailers, and related services or financing options.
  • Understanding of UK road transport legislation and fleet management.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.
