A leading legal training provider is seeking motivated individuals for various trainee solicitor programmes, including the SQE pathway and training contracts. Successful candidates will benefit from a supportive environment that fosters their career in law. Key attributes include resilience, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including healthcare and generous holiday allowances.
These roles are for a September 2028 start.
For candidates who have completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (PEAT1) there is a possibility to start earlier – this will be discussed if successful.
This application is for all of our trainee programmes. Please see below information on each programme.
You can apply to complete our trainee solicitor – SQE pathway if you have completed your law degree, or have completed a non‑law degree and the PGDL (or equivalent). Candidates who are successful in their application will be guaranteed a place to study towards the SQE1&2 at BPP University Law School. As we recruit two years in advance, you can choose to prepare for the SQE1 on a full time or part time basis before joining us as a trainee solicitor to gain your qualifying work experience (QWE). You will then sit SQE2 when you have gained some on–the–job experience with the firm.
You can apply to complete our Training contracts if you are currently studying towards, or have completed, the Legal Practice Course (LPC). If you have not yet commenced the LPC, you can become a trainee solicitor by following our trainee solicitor – SQE pathway to qualification.
You can apply to complete a Solicitor traineeship in Glasgow. Our 24‑month training programme will provide you with excellent training and experience across various seats in different areas of the business, which will include the PEAT2 outcomes which are required for your qualification to solicitor. Prior to commencing your training, you will be required to undertake the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. If you successfully gain a position on our traineeship programme, and have not yet enrolled on a PEAT1 course, we will fund the cost of postgraduate tuition at the university of your choice – this can be discussed if you are successful.
We are looking for a specific type of individual who will fit in well with our ethos and culture.
