Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy

Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Enhanced Salary & Guarantee Structure:

  • During the first 16 weeks of training, a basic salary of £25,500 per annum.
  • From month 4 to month 6, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30,000 per annum.
  • From month 7 to month 10, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £32,500 per annum.
  • From month 10 to month 16, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £35,000 per annum.
  • From month 17, £25,000 basic salary plus unlimited commission; realistic OTE of £45,000+.

Contract Basis: Full time, permanent, employed role.

Location: Initially office based for the first 11 weeks of training at our Academy Centre in Warmington (Peterborough) with free onsite parking; the remaining 5 weeks conducted remotely. Remote working continues once qualified.

Target: Candidates with a strong desire for a long‑term career in Financial Services, and a demonstrable track record in customer service and sales. Looking for a career change.

Post training salary: After training, from month 4 of employment, guaranteed additional monthly commission with tiered increments over 12 months. Realistic OTE of £50,000+ in the second full year.

CF1 & CF6: Full financial support to gain the CF1 & CF6 qualifications, including study materials and exam entry costs.

Working hours during training: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM Monday to Friday; no planned holidays allowed during the 16‑week training.

Post training working hours: Mix of 9 AM–6 PM and 11 AM–8 PM Monday to Friday; no weekend working required.

Timeline: Immediate interviews.

Role overview:

The Trainee Mortgage Adviser role represents a fantastic opportunity for those candidates keen to pursue a career in Financial Services as a fully CII qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser. It is a telephone‑based role requiring articulate and engaging communication, consistent motivation, discipline, and organization. You will secure appointments and progress mortgage and protection applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers, secure appointments, and progress mortgage and protection applications.
  • Write and manage over 16 mortgages with protection each month.
  • Collaborate with the dedicated Adviser Support Teams.
  • Adhere to training and development programmes within the Academy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry, especially mortgages and protection.
  • Strong track record in customer service and sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills; ability to explain complex information simply.
  • Organized and disciplined, with a structured approach to work.
  • Highly competent with IT and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
