Our two‑and‑a‑half‑year grad/training scheme is dynamic, rewarding, and hands‑on. Salary and benefits:

  • £24,000 starting salary, rising to £25,500 after 4‑6 months.
  • Another rise to £29,500 after 6 telethons.
  • Subsistence allowance worth over £1,000 per year.
  • Hybrid working – Bristol City Centre based office with flexible hours and casual dress.

Responsibilities:

As a Trainee Campaign Officer, you will learn how to take the reins on fundraising campaigns from start to finish, becoming the key contact and project manager for each client. Your day‑to‑day duties will include recruiting and training fundraising callers, coordinating meetings with clients, handling project details such as admin and database work, and leading teams of up to 50 students either in person or over Teams.

You will manage both on‑site telethons – where you will oversee the campaign action firsthand, complete with travel, accommodation and a generous food allowance – and remote telethons, allowing you the flexibility to work from home or our office. Full training on our systems will be provided, and you will need strong organisational skills, a love for clear communication and confidence with IT.

Scheme details:

This is a fixed‑term two‑and‑a‑half‑year scheme open to graduate or equivalent candidates. Upon completion, we will assist you with achieving your future career plans. You will also be welcome to apply for other roles within Buffalo.
