As part of the role, you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, so a full UK driving licence is essential.This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:00-16:30 or 7:30-17:00, with the requirement of working every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00. **What You’ll Be Doing**:* Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resource to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations* Lead by example in developing strong relationships through regular customer interaction, supporting the team to maximise growth through pro-active cross selling* Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures* Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire product* Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe, and fully operational* Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and record keeping* Inspect, test, and carry out basic repairs on a range of tools and small plant (e.g., breakers, saws, mixers, access equipment)### **What We’re Looking For**Enthusiasm - You radiate positivity and possess an unyielding passion for the merchant world.Decency - You embody honesty and integrity, contributing to a workplace built on respect and ethicsTeam Spirit - You thrive in collaborative settings, believing that together we can achieve greatness.Pride - You take pride in your work and are dedicated to producing top-notch results.Quality - We’re unwavering in our commitment to providing outstanding products and service that exceed our customers’ expectations.Supportive Environment - Join a culture that prioritises your growth, with the resources and support you need to excel.Professional Development - We are invested in your success!
