Overview

Test Development Engineer role at MBDA. Contribute to the design, integration and validation of test system hardware solutions within the Test Equipment Design Team.

What we offer

• Salary: Circa £43,000 depending on experience
• Location: Stevenage (relocation package may be available)
• Dynamic (hybrid) working: On-site when necessary to collaborate, with potential for remote work when appropriate

What we are looking for

• Skilled Hardware Design Engineers with experience in design, integration and validation of test system hardware
• Knowledge of test needs and techniques in product life cycle development
• Experience with Design Proving and performance testing during development
• Experience with Environmental and EMC testing during qualification
• Strong documentation skills related to Test Equipment hardware design
• Experience of managing small packages of work is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Support the design process at all stages, including contribution to design reviews, answering manufacturing queries, performing risk deduction activities
• Assist with integration and validation activities and report to the Technical Lead or Equipment Project Manager
• Lead on packages of work and manage deliveries contributing to the overall solution
• Work in an international environment to broaden expertise and contribute to product delivery
