The individual develops and monitors individualized training plans, facilitates workshops and provides assistance and direction to learners. This is a part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week) starting February 2, 2026 and ending April 30, 2026.**Note:** This is a part-time vacancy located at 155 Clarke Road, London ON, N5W 5C9.**Responsibilities:*** Assists students in academic upgrading programs by facilitating learning and related activities as prescribed by program curriculum* Developing a learner training plan and tracking the milestones and outcomes in systems and data bases, as per provincial guidelines* Reviewing and supporting the literacy/numeracy/employability skills of students, by utilizing a variety of prescribed diagnostic tools. (for example, Common Assessment, FOL upgrading content and ensuring the use of relevant tools are being utilized within the program.)* Demonstrating, supporting and explaining the application of theory to students according to prescribed skills and objectives in the program curriculum* Monitors student attendance in accordance with program requirements, follows up on disengagement, and supports success by supporting and contributing to student success plans.**Qualifications:*** 3 year Diploma or Degree in a related field* Minimum 3-years experience demonstrating the following skills in order to effectively support learners: active listening, communication, patience, problem solving, adaptability, and time management* Experience with Adult Learners, ESL, including facilitating workshops under the Get SET mandate an asset* Demonstrated knowledge of the use of educational technologies at the higher education level and experience developing workshops and training materials that are tailored to various learner profiles* An ability to apply an understanding of diversity and inclusiveness to meet the needs of a diverse student population* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with a variety of customer interactions* Strong analytical skills demonstrating a proactive approach to problem solving* Proficiency using MS Word and Excel, learning management systems and experience using course authoring and/or assessment tools for learning systems* Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to manage competing priorities and activities* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFanshawe College uses Workday to manage recruitment and hiring processes.**Educational Credentials**While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory as a condition of employment.**Equity, Diversity and Inclusion**Fanshawe College is an equal opportunity employer.
