Location: Market Drayton

Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday‑Friday (40 hours)

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of infrastructure engineers and support specialists
  • Keep infrastructure services available, secure, and scalable across on‑prem and cloud
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Own end‑user technology standards, roadmaps, and asset lifecycle management
  • Act as senior escalation point, including out‑of‑hours support
  • Deliver infrastructure projects and transformation initiatives
  • Partner closely with plant operations to enable IT/OT convergence
  • Own infrastructure budgets, forecasting, and cost optimisationManage vendors and service providers for performance and value
  • Provide clear, confident updates to the CTO and senior leadership
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience leading infrastructure or technical support teams
  • Strong technical grounding across networks, data centres/cloud, workplace tech, and ITSM
  • Confidence making decisions under pressure in a 24/7 environment
  • Budget ownership and vendor management experience
  • Clear communicator who can translate tech into business outcomes
  • Strategic mindset with a hands‑on edge
  • Willingness to travel and take part in an on‑call escalation rota
  • Manufacturing or industrial IT experience
