A secure communications provider in Redhill is seeking a Technical Service Delivery Manager to manage the successful delivery of technical projects for MOD contracts. Technical Service Delivery Manager - UK Defence

£60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits | Full-Time | Redhill | Hybrid

Our client, a secure communications provider working on cutting-edge defence and government programmes, is seeking a Technical Service Delivery Manager to join their growing Project Management team.

Based in Redhill, this role will be onsite during the probation period, then move to a hybrid model. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the successful delivery of technical projects across a range of MOD contracts, including satellite communications and IT networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service delivery and technical project management of MOD project portfolios
• Manage documentation including risk registers, schedules, implementation plans, and service launches
• Track project progress across contracts and ensure alignment with contractual obligations
• Act as the key contact for project delivery issues and resolutions
• Support the roll‑out of group planning and through‑life support processes
• Represent the business at key customer and commercial meetings
• Assist with bid writing for MOD/government tenders
• Take on line management responsibilities as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• Project management experience in MOD or UK government environments
• Technical background in electrical/electronic systems, IT networking, or satellite communications
• Strong understanding of MOD commercial processes, especially Defence Digital and DE&S
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure
• Self‑motivated, confident decision‑maker with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels in a highly regulated environment
• Proficient with standard office and project documentation tools
• Willingness to travel as needed
