About The Role

Don't put down the tools, teach others to pick them up.

Now is the time to think about using your industry knowledge to teach.

Whether you would like to teach full time or simply share your knowledge for a couple of hours, we want to hear from you! We're open to speak about part-time, full-time, voluntary, casual or sessional work.

We have opportunities throughout our sites including Ashford, Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone and Sheppey.

We support staff who are new to teaching with:
  • Bespoke sessions with experienced coaches (Teaching and Learning Innovators)
  • Our own internal Teaching Academy
  • Funded Level 3 and 5 teaching qualifications
  • Mentoring and one-to-ones
  • In person Induction
About You

Some opportunities we have in specific areas:

  • Engineering
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing and/or Gas
  • Bricklaying and Construction
  • Painting and Decorating
  • Plastering

If you've trained, instructed or taught for years, supported apprentices on occasion, or have no experience, we still want you to apply. You'll just need a level 3 qualification to teach your subject, but we can support you where needed.
