Gogglesquad is seeking an experienced Swimming Instructor to deliver high-quality lessons at Feltonfleet School in Cobham, Surrey. The role requires exceptional teaching abilities for learners of all ages, ensuring safety and progress through tailored lesson plans. You must hold a Level 2 qualification, possess CPR/First Aid certification, and be comfortable working independently with small groups. We are seeking an experienced swimming teacher to teach at our main venue at Feltonfleet School in Cobham in Surrey on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional swimming lessons to learners of all ages and abilities.
GoggleSquad was founded by former Great Britain synchronised swimmer Nicola Ayers when she found that many parents and adult learners were crying out for high quality swimming lessons in an environment designed to help learners progress fast. Nicola set out to fill that gap by focussing on essential priorities that guide every decision, from hiring and lesson planning to selecting teaching venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional swimming lessons to children and adults of varying abilities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently with small groups (max 3 learners).
Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to learners in line with the Swim England framework.
Ensure the welfare of all learners by maintaining a safe and secure swimming environment.
Develop lesson plans as required to cater to the needs of every learner.
Monitor and evaluate learner progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
Provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and progress.
Teach lessons during term time on Mondays (4-6pm), Tuesdays (5.30-7.30pm) and Saturdays (1.30-3.30pm).
Certification in CPR and First Aid.
ASA Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
Enhanced DBS checked.
Lifeguard or water safety qualification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with learners of all ages and abilities.
