A leading infrastructure services company is seeking a Sustainability Advisor in Aberdeen. This role involves driving the Sustainability Strategy by delivering training, analyzing data, and ensuring project compliance with sustainability commitments. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, detailed knowledge of environmental issues, and a full UK driving license. The position offers a supportive and collaborative environment and includes 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

This role is in our Transmission and Renewables division.
We provide an end‑to‑end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
We're looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join our team in Aberdeen, this is a central role in driving the business’s Sustainability Strategy by delivering training, analysing data, and producing reports, while ensuring that project design and construction meet both MGroup Energy and SSEN client sustainability commitments. This role will require some travel so a Full UK driving licence is required.
You'll provide guidance on environmental issues such as carbon reduction and social value, collaborate with clients and contractors to embed best practices, and oversee sustainability management across all project stages. Beyond project delivery, you'll support internal teams—such as Bids, Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Training—by enhancing procedures, embedding sustainable approaches, and facilitating tailored training. Acting as a mentor and advisor, you'll help project teams and partners understand sustainability risks and responsibilities, while also introducing innovative techniques to improve environmental performance. As part of the wider SHEQ team, you'll ensure compliance with legislation, maintain management processes, and regularly liaise with stakeholders to anticipate risks and implement timely changes that safeguard business continuity.
