A leading environmental organization in Llandovery is seeking a graduate for a placement role in land management. This trainee position will develop your skills while providing support across diverse operational teams. Ideal candidates should have recently completed an RICS accredited postgraduate qualification. The role offers mentorship by experienced professionals and the opportunity to apply for RICS membership after meeting the required competencies. Flexible working arrangements will be supported.
This is a placement role for an individual who has recently gained a post graduate qualification in an RICS accredited qualification in rural estate management or a similar discipline. This role will enable the individual to apply to become a member of the RICS having passed their Assessment of Professional Competence. The role will provide support to Natural Resources Wales across Land Management, Forest Operations and wider operational teams. The purpose of the graduate trainee programme is to develop the practical experience, knowledge and skills to establish your career in the land management sector. You will work closely with and be mentored by the Senior Specialist Surveyor, the Land Management Team Leader and their Specialist Advisors.
This is an opportunity to join NRW's Land Management team for Mid-South working primarily from Llandovery. As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to an NRW office within Mid Wales and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance. The NRW estate in Mid-South ranges from productive forest blocks to National Nature Reserves to flood risk management assets, plus other various rural assets.
