An organization supporting individuals with disabilities is looking for a Support Worker in Chippenham. This role involves assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to those with learning disabilities. Candidates need excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Flexible working hours are available, including evenings and weekends. The position offers a salary of £24,570 per annum plus excellent benefits, including ongoing training and development opportunities.
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Supported Living Services based in Chippenham on a full‑time or part‑time basis.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.
We support a variety of people with different interests including music, craft, cooking, gardening, allotment work, local walks, board games, pool and darts. The most important thing to the people we support is having someone kind and caring to spend time with and have a chat.
We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
There is also a sleep‑in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
