Overview

Are you a driver, looking for a second job? Do you have experience providing support to people with learning disabilities? If so, you could be the person our client is looking for. Our client is a young woman with complex health needs who is looking for a personal assistant who can assist her to live independently at home with her parents.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, medication administration, moving & handling
• Supporting client during prolonged myoclonus (shaking) episodes
• First aid and light housework/cooking
• Support her with her communication programme (training will be given)

Hours and Pay

Hours: 16 hours per week, shifts will be allocated to meet the needs of the client.

Pay: £14.40 per hour

Requirements

• Female-only, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 part 1
• Driver with a full UK driving licence and aged over 25yrs for insurance purposes
