Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Support Officer to join our dedicated team within Business Services to cover maternity leave.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

You should be an enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer service. You will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy, be well organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities.

You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your initiative.

Your duties will include: accurate data input, create spatial data by plotting polygons onto the Planning Development Management GIS function, utilise bespoke software systems, adhere to statutory regulations involving all communications, advertising, record management, redacting personal information and data cleansing, deal with customers (public, councillors, consultees, solicitors, etc) by various formats providing updates and advice relating to our procedures and policies, complete Local Land and Property searches, carry out financial transactions and administer related processes, provide advice and mentoring to junior members of staff.
