The role of Specialist Cultural Facilitator is to support the growth of sector capability in terms of building cultural understanding across the sector. This role will contribute to the development and delivery of VACCA’s external training workshops, with a focus on child protection processes, and supporting child and family safety through a cultural lens.
A key component of the role is to support facilitated training of cultural practice to Aboriginal and non‑Aboriginal staff across ACCO’s, community services and government agencies. This will include providing group coaching to team leaders and practitioners to build competency and capability in cultural practice when working with Aboriginal children and families.
