What You Will Do

Undertake Child and Family Assessments in accordance with the Children Act 1989, identifying needs, risks, and protective factors to inform outcome-focused plans.

Respond promptly and appropriately to safeguarding concerns, working with partner agencies to ensure children’s safety.

Manage a varied caseload, developing, reviewing, and progressing Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans.

Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring holistic planning and coordinated support.

Maintain high professional standards through supervision, training, and reflective practice.

Apply strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches, ensuring the voice of the child is central to all planning and decision-making.
