Overview

Join The James Foundation as a Casual Social Media Volunteer and help us support families affected by baby loss. In this flexible, home-based role, you’ll create and share sensitive social media content, assist with website updates, and help raise awareness of our campaigns and events, all at times that suit you. You’ll receive guidance and support while gaining valuable skills in digital communications, all while being part of a caring and supportive volunteer community.

Responsibilities
  • Create, schedule, and share sensitive social media content across platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and help amplify important campaigns and awareness initiatives.
  • Assist with updates to the charity’s website to ensure information is accurate, current, and presented in a sensitive and accessible way.
  • Work closely with the appropriate person to ensure posts reflect the charity’s empathetic and respectful tone.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, privacy, and safeguarding guidelines.

The Social Media Volunteer (Casual/Intermittent) will support The James Foundation in raising awareness and providing a compassionate online presence for families affected by baby loss. This flexible, remote role involves creating, scheduling, and sharing sensitive social media content, monitoring engagement, helping amplify important campaigns or awareness initiatives, and assisting with updates to the charity’s website to ensure information is accurate, current, and presented in a sensitive and accessible way.
