A leading residential care provider is looking for Social Care Workers to offer personal care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Salary:£12.25 to £12.25Annum (Salary based on a 48-hour contract. A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)

Meylan House is a large, detached home in a quiet residential area of Didcot in Oxfordshire that supports up to seven men and women of varied ages with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. The home offers two spacious communal lounges, one designated a quiet zone, a shared kitchen and dining area and a large back garden with a very popular trampoline. The experienced staff and Positive Behaviour Support Team work together to help all those living at Meylan to develop their independence skills, with a busy schedule of individual and group activities and access to computers and the internet. The home has its own transport for local visits and excursions, including swimming, music sessions, bowling, walks, ‘Race Around’ and laser tag. It also has excellent links with local colleges and community education facilities.
