This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in precision, understands the importance of traditional methods, and can work sympathetically with historic buildings.
Essential: Proven experience as a site carpenter (minimum 3‑5 years) – Strong knowledge of traditional joinery techniques – Experience working with timber windows and doors – Ability to read technical drawings and specifications – Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality – Full UK driving license – Own tools (specialist equipment provided) – Professional and courteous manner with clients
Desirable: Experience working on period or listed properties – Understanding of conservation principles – NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent – First Aid certification
If you’re tired of rushed jobs and cutting corners, this is your opportunity to work with a company that values quality over speed and craftsmanship over compromise.
You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in every mortise and tenon, every hand‑fitted hinge, and every perfectly hung door. Our clients choose us because they want the best and we deliver it through skilled hands and traditional methods.
