The Sight Loss Support Officer is a pivotal carrying out assessments of the needs of visually impaired adults, with an ongoing programme of support to promote independence for visually impaired people. It includes promoting the use of appropriate technology, aids and adaptations and supporting visually impaired people to develop the necessary skills to benefit from them.
The Sight Loss Support Officer role is a wonderful opportunity, and the successful candidate will be providing invaluable support work for visually people, assessing their needs, supporting them to overcome barriers, and build independence and resilience.
