A construction management company is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to ensure compliance and safety across sites. The successful candidate will conduct audits, investigate incidents, and contribute to tender submissions, playing a crucial role in promoting a positive health and safety culture. This position is located in Leicester with travel to other sites, and requires a NEBOSH Certification and experience in the field.
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Group SHEQ Director to help make sure our workplaces are safe, supportive, and compliant. You’ll play a big part in shaping how we deliver our Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management Systems – whether that’s carrying out audits and inspections on site, supporting our teams with advice and guidance, preparing reports, or delivering engaging presentations.
A key part of your role will be working alongside our site management teams to ensure our sites are safe and compliant – this means completing regular audits, offering practical advice, and building strong working relationships to help everyone stay safe.
You’ll also investigate incidents with clarity and care, ensuring findings are reported in a way that supports managers, insurers, and others in making the right decisions. In addition, you’ll contribute to tender submissions, helping us put our best foot forward with clients.
The role will be based at our Head Office in Leicester, with plenty of time spent visiting our construction sites across the wider East Midlands (and occasionally the West Midlands). Every day will be different, so flexibility around start, and finish times is essential.
