Our warehouse operation plays a critical role in supporting the wider business, and we are now looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse & Facilities Manager to lead this function with a strong focus on people, safety, performance and continuous improvement.

The Role

Senior Warehouse & Facilities Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall performance of our warehouse and facilities operation. You will lead a multi-functional team, ensuring the operation is safe, efficient, well organised and aligned with business priorities.

While you will have an office within the warehouse, you will remain actively engaged with the operation, maintaining visibility across the team, setting standards, supporting Team Leaders and addressing issues as they arise. You will balance strong people leadership with data‑led decision‑making, using systems and KPIs to drive performance and improvement.

You will have full ownership of Health & Safety, responsibility for third‑party storage relationships, and accountability for operational reporting. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations, with regular exposure to senior leadership through structured reporting and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team, creating a high‑performing, accountable culture
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, performance and conduct fairly and consistently
  • Oversee all warehouse activities including goods in, put‑away, picking, packing, dispatch, stock control and in‑house assembly and rework
  • Manage off‑site, third‑party storage providers to ensure stock accuracy, visibility and service levels
  • Hold full responsibility for Health & Safety across warehouse and facilities, ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Analyse operational data, track KPIs and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Provide weekly operational updates and deliver a monthly operational overview to the Head of Operations and Managing Director
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, cost control and performance

  • Proven experience managing a warehouse operation in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong people management capability with confidence handling performance and behavioural matters
  • A visible, engaged leader who sets clear expectations and brings people with them
  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, WMS and ERP systems to analyse data and track performance
  • Formal Health & Safety training with solid knowledge of warehouse H&S requirements
