About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Partner with deep expertise in Finance and Legal recruitment to lead end-to-end hiring for these critical functions. You’ll be a strategic partner to senior leaders (CFO, General Counsel and adjacent stakeholders), owning hiring plans, market mapping and delivery across senior and specialist roles.

This is a hands-on role – you will personally run high-impact searches, influence hiring decisions with data and market insight and help build a world-class hiring bar for Corporate functions, specifically Finance and Legal teams.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own hiring delivery for Finance and Legal functions (e.g. FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal Counsel, Commercial, Corporate).
  • Run full-cycle recruiting from intake, calibration, sourcing strategy, assessment design, interview process, offer management and closing.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and GC organisations to translate business priorities into hiring roadmaps.
  • Bring market intelligence on talent – including compensation trends, competitor mapping and realistic time-to-fill expectations.
  • Develop pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill profiles across Finance and Legal.
  • Create and maintain talent maps for priority areas across Finance and Legal.
  • Selectively manage external partners (exec search or specialist agencies) with clear briefs, scorecards and performance expectations.
  • Improve structured interviewing and selection quality (clear competencies, calibrated scorecards, consistent debriefs).
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience – timely, transparent and high-touch where needed.
About you
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience, with substantial depth in Finance and Legal hiring (in-house and/or agency).
  • Proven track record recruiting across a range of seniorities, including senior specialist and leadership roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively.
  • Demonstrated sourcing capability (market mapping, outreach strategy, talent research) and comfort operating in competitive markets.
  • High bar for quality and process where structured interviewing, evidence-based decisioning and strong candidate experience are paramount.
  • Executive search or top-tier search firm experience (or equivalent high-calibre retained search environment), particularly for Finance and/or Legal leadership roles.
  • Experience recruiting in high-growth tech, infrastructure, fintech, or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with hiring across UK/EU and navigating location, compliance and compensation complexity.
  • Comfort partnering on compensation/leveling discussions and advising on market benchmarks.
What we can offer you
  • Highly competitive package (base + equity) with reviews every 12 months.
  • Join the fastest-growing tech startup, your chance to push boundaries, collaborate with brilliant minds, and make your mark on cutting-edge AI.
  • Expect a dynamic progression plan tailored to your ambitions. Grow by trying new things, leading, challenging the status quo, and owning your impact, always with our full support.
  • Human-First Flexibility: We treat you as humans first. We offer a flexible workplace that trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy to shape your day around life’s moments.

We strongly encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, parents, carers, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

If there’s anything we can do to accommodate your specific situation, please let us know.

The responsibilities outlined in this job description are not exhaustive and are intended to provide a general overview of the position.
