A local care provider in Hoddesdon is seeking a Senior Support Worker to oversee team shifts and support individuals with daily living skills. Key responsibilities include managing medication, assisting with personal care, and maintaining safety standards. Job Title: Senior Support Worker
Salary: £33,429 (£17.32 per hour). Opportunity to progress to £36,500 (£18.91 per hour).
Hours: Full Time, Part Time and Flexible hours available.
Contract: Permanent

About The Role:
Work in peoples’ own homes on our sites, supporting them with basic daily needs and achieving their goals, personal hygiene, eating, drinking, keeping homes clean, managing money, taking medication, attending health appointments, joining social and leisure activities at home and in the local community, updating paperwork using IT systems. In short breaks, people rely on you to support them to enjoy their time away from home while their carers have a well-deserved break.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts – overseeing the team and dealing with day‑to‑day challenges, supervise others and take on an additional area of responsibility such as coordination of training or health and safety.
Our services need you to support people with personal care, using moving and handling equipment where required, and be physically able to manage this type of work.
Shift work includes days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Some roles require you to sleep in.
