Job summary

Senior Residential Support Worker – Compass Community

If the answer to all the above is "yes", then a Senior Residential Support Worker role with Compass could be perfect for you. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new two-bed home opening soon.

Qualifications
  • Is 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
  • Has their NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
  • Has at least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people.
  • Has a valid manual driving licence.
Responsibilities
  • Using life skills, create positive relationships with children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
  • Engage with a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
  • Lead shifts, oversee staff supervision, manage policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas, and ensure that placement plans and education support are followed.
  • Ensure the welfare and care of each child, and give guidance and support to all residential workers.
