Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the change agenda from a blank slate, shaping the transformation strategy and embedding a fit-for-purpose change capability. This is a rare opportunity to lead a transformation programme from the ground up, with full ownership of shaping how change is delivered across a newly integrated business unit. You’ll be instrumental in modernising a legacy-heavy operation and aligning it with organisation’s strategic ambitions.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the transformation approach for the newly acquired equity release lending and advice functions
  • Establish a change function within the organisation, including governance, processes, and ways of working
  • Support the integration of the organisation’s acquisition across teams, focusing on adviser onboarding (50,000 self-employed advisers), HR process alignment such as email systems, identity management as well as IT integration and digital journey alignment
  • Identify and address manual processes, driving automation and digital-first solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation from different levels
  • Introduce and embed the organisation’s change governance across the newly integrated teams
  • Operate effectively in a highly dynamic environment, shaping the programme from scratch
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, resilience and innovation while mentoring junior project managers
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager or Transformation Lead in financial services, ideally within equity release, wealth, or insurance
  • Strong understanding of change management, governance frameworks, and digital transformation
  • Comfortable working with limited initial clarity, able to create structure and direction
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Able to allocate resources and manage project budgets
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in HR and IT integration projects is highly desirable
Benefits
  • Career coaching, mentoring and access to upskilling throughout your entire FDM career
  • Assignments with global companies and opportunities to work abroad
  • Opportunity to re-skill and up-skill into new areas, develop non-linear career paths and build a skillset within your field
  • Annual leave and work-place pension
