Senior Project Manager | Property Newcastle & Northern NSW

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Newcastle-based Property & Construction team, supporting projects across the greater Northern NSW region.

About the Role

You will lead the delivery of medium to large‑scale projects across Education, Living & Aged Care, Commercial Property and Retail, taking responsibility for project performance across cost, time, quality and risk. Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, you will play a key role in shaping successful outcomes while contributing to a strong, collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams and stakeholders to ensure project delivery to scope, cost, time and quality targets.
  • Oversee project performance and risk, reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants and contractors.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support their decision‑making.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices across projects.
Qualifications
  • 6‑12 years’ experience in construction or property project management.
  • Strong experience delivering property‑sector projects (education, health/aged care, commercial or retail).
  • Background in client‑side consultancy, project engineering, architecture or similar.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction, architecture or engineering (trade or technical backgrounds also considered).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing consultants and contractors.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic and outcomes‑focused approach.
