A leading fusion energy company based in the UK is seeking a Senior Engineer to tackle design challenges in nuclear technologies. This role involves leading an integrated project team to develop solutions for radiation shielding, breeding technologies, and more. Candidates should possess expertise in radiation transport codes and a strong background in nuclear fusion technology. Fusion energy requires that a number of fascinating design challenges are met. One of these is nuclear technologies; focusing on shielding, tritium breeding, material assessments and activation. We are looking for a senior engineer to lead the technical focus in solving some of these challenges by applying sound physics and engineering judgement to develop solutions which meet the design requirements.
