A financial services firm in London is looking for an experienced professional to manage investment risks across multi-asset portfolios. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in investment risk management. Ideal candidates should have a quantitative background and the ability to communicate complex risk issues effectively. This is a full-time, permanent position.
How you'll spend your time
In this role you will be primarily responsible for identifying, assessing and managing investment risks taken across multi-asset portfolios within EMEA. You will therefore need an understanding of different risk management techniques, as well as an understanding about equity, fixed income and derivatives instruments.
Strong interpersonal skills are required in this role as you will be asked to communicate risk related issues to all levels of the business, including partnering with portfolio managers by challenging and influencing portfolio exposures, risk drivers, and investment decisions.
You will be expected to deliver consistently good results on numerous projects and so the ability to effectively manage workload and time is important.
