  • Ensure requirements are clear, direct and robust to avoid ambiguity and mistakes.
  • Ensure requirements are met with clear evidence stored in ALM software (e.g., Polarion) with full traceability.
  • Provide leadership drawing on extensive background in electrical, thermal and structural engineering.
  • Take proactive ownership and work independently with minimal supervision, setting an example for junior engineers.
  • Lead, manage, control and maintain deliverables, using escalation appropriately.
  • Deliver tasks on time within Agratas NPI gateways and PM framework, applying systems engineering (ISO15288) and delivering to ISO9001, ITAF16949 standards.
  • Support adherence to APQP, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security (ISO21434), and Me-SPICE.

  • High Voltage (HV) Safety Training & Certification (e.g., HV Awareness, HV Working, or equivalent) – or willingness to obtain as the role requires.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles, particularly in automotive, EV battery systems, or powertrain domains.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills; able to own assignments, lead by example with a positive mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across geographical locations.
  • Proven experience with requirements decomposition and verification processes.
  • Prior experience designing and delivering HV battery components to time, quality, performance and cost objectives with broad stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with DFx and identifying critical requirements in advance of multidisciplinary engagement.
  • Experience delivering projects within NPI frameworks using a Systems Engineering approach (ISO15288).
  • Strong presentation, communication and reporting skills tailored to the audience.
  • Experience with product development projects including APQP, product safety (ISO26262 awareness), Cyber Security (ISO21434), Me-SPICE.
  • Experienced in HV battery systems design and prototyping (DFMEA, PDU, HV/LV components), with exposure to design and release activities and the ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
