As Senior Manager, Spoken Word, you will be the local leader responsible for growing Amazon Music’s spoken word business across podcasts and audiobooks in the German market. This role owns how spoken word shows up for customers — from discovery and engagement to long‑term listening — and how Amazon Music partners with creators, publishers, and the wider audio industry in Germany.
This role is well‑suited to someone who enjoys building in ambiguity, influencing across teams, and balancing creative partnerships with commercial and customer outcomes. We are looking for a leader or manager with deep experience in podcasts, audiobooks, or adjacent audio/media businesses, and a strong understanding of the German spoken word landscape. You will own both strategy and execution, and be accountable for delivering results in a fast‑moving, evolving category.

You’ll operate at the intersection of content, product, marketing, and partnerships, translating global strategy into local execution that drives measurable listener growth. This is a highly visible role with broad ownership: you’ll set direction, represent Spoken Word externally, and work closely with senior stakeholders across Amazon to shape how podcasts and audiobooks come together as a single, compelling customer experience.
