A leading veterinary services provider in the UK seeks a Senior Management Accountant for an 8-month fixed term contract. As a Senior Management Accountant your primary responsibility is to oversee the integration of newly acquired clinics into the respective RTR systems, processes and overall ways of working in collaboration with GBS and Genpact RTR teams.
In this role you will additionally partner with our local market-based Merger & Acquisition, Local Finance and Global Acquisition Finance colleagues to ensure that GBS in partnership with our outsourced provider Genpact are operationally ready for day 1 trading with any new acquired clinic for all Record to Report activities.
Key aspects of this role will require the GBS RTR Senior Management Accountant to have full oversight of month end close execution & reporting as a result of the RTR transactional month end close activities performed by Genpact.
Collaboration with Genpact, GBS Integrations R2R Tower Lead and GBS Regional Accounting Leads will be regular and important to ensuring that each month end close is accurate and timely.
You will also be working closely with our GBS RTR Global Process Owner and Genpact in driving a culture of continuous process improvement and leverage technology and automation tools to optimise process, workflows and to reduce manual/transactional activities as it relates to clinics based in MLE.
This role is a key role within GBS and ensures that we align to our group strategy in the integration of newly acquired clinics thus ensuring consistent and efficient balance sheet management and will ensure that our month end close process is accurate and done in compliance with IFRS and GAAP statutory requirements.
You will provide functional leadership and oversight of RTR activities delivered by outsourced and internal teams, acting as a key escalation point and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role involves influencing across GBS and partner teams, supporting capability development, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
This role is being offered on a fixed term contract basis to the end of September 2026.
