Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in electrical/control systems engineering within high-tech manufacturing.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (desirable).
• Ability to commute to Prestwick and travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical control systems for advanced laser and automation platforms.
• Define system architecture and integrate robotics, safety systems, and PLCs.
• Oversee technical reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning.
• Author and review technical documentation and support testing.
