Senior Delivery & Product Manager
Department: Delivery
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Leeds - Hybrid
Compensation: £45,000 - £60,000 / year
Description
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Delivery & Product Manager to lead the successful delivery of digital products, AI and IoT technology and complex web apps across our client portfolio.
Alongside driving delivery, you’ll take a strong product ownership role — shaping vision and outcomes, clarifying user needs, translating ambiguity into actionable roadmaps, and ensuring the work we deliver genuinely solves the right problems. You’ll partner with clients to define product strategy, challenge assumptions, prioritise effectively, and guide teams toward building high-value, user‑centred solutions.
You’ll still own the day‑to‑day rhythm of delivery: shaping scope, enabling cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Design, UX, QA, Data, AI), managing client relationships, and ensuring we execute reliably against outcomes, budgets, and timelines.
You’ll be the glue that keeps teams aligned and focused — removing blockers, championing ways of working, bringing commercial awareness to every decision, and creating an environment where teams can thrive and products can succeed.
This role blends delivery excellence with product thinking, business analysis skills, and technical curiosity. You’ll work with autonomy, challenge constructively, steward healthy team dynamics, and play a key part in scaling both high‑quality delivery and strong product practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of digital projects from kick‑off to completion, ensuring teams stay aligned, unblocked, and focused on outcomes.
- Facilitate key agile ceremonies and maintain the delivery rhythm across sprints, roadmaps, and releases.
- Shape and manage scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria in partnership with clients and internal teams.
- Build strong, trusted client relationships and act as the primary delivery point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to extend value within accounts and support commercial conversations.
- Enable healthy team dynamics, resolve conflict constructively, and encourage continuous improvement.
- Encourage continuous improvement and champion effective ways of working.
- Support collaboration across engineering, design, product, QA, AI, and data teams.
- Help refine problems, clarify requirements, and validate assumptions.
- Support workshops and discovery activities with clear synthesis and follow‑up.
- Translate business goals into clear artefacts teams can work from.
- Contribute to improving delivery processes and internal communities of practice.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What you need to have:
- Strong experience delivering digital products, web/app builds, or software projects end‑to‑end, focussing on measurable business and customer outcomes, not just outputs.
- Demonstrated experience owning and delivering a product roadmap aligned to business strategy and customer needs.
- Experience gathering, prioritising, and translating user, customer, and stakeholder requirements into actionable backlog items.
- Proven track record of making data‑informed product decisions and managing trade‑offs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels, including managing expectations, difficult conversations and aligning diverse stakeholders around shared outcomes. .
- Clear and confident communicator, able to translate technical and product concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Confidence leading agile ceremonies, shaping delivery plans, and managing multi‑disciplinary teams using a range of agile methodologies.
- Strong customer‑centric mindset with experience using user research, feedback, and analytics to drive improvements.
- Ability to manage budgets, risks, schedules, and forecasts with accuracy and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work with technical teams and understand core concepts (APIs, architecture, environments, QA, DevOps workflow).
Nice to have:
- Experience in running or contributing to discovery phases, research, or product framing.
- Experience working with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., v0, Cursor), or basic prompt engineering for rapid prototyping.
- Experience delivering AI, IoT, or data‑intensive projects.
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts (APIs, environments, CI/CD, cloud basics).
- Consultancy experience or multi‑project portfolio management.
You’re a confident, organised professional who can lead teams with calmness, clarity, and curiosity. You thrive in complex, fast‑paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and can switch comfortably between big‑picture delivery and the detail needed to unblock teams.
You’re someone who:
- Works autonomously and takes proactive ownership.
- Builds rapport quickly and communicates with clarity and empathy.
- Challenges appropriately and isn’t afraid of difficult conversations.
- Supports others’ growth and fosters healthy collaboration.
- Understands how digital products are built, even if you’re not technical hands‑on.
- Enjoys learning - especially about AI, new tooling, and better ways of delivering.
