LOCATION: Fareham, Hampshire (Office-based)SALARY:£28,000 – £30,000 DOE + Benefits

Join Mercator Media, a leading B2B events & media company in the maritime sector, and take ownership of high-profile international conferences such as GreenPort Congress,Seawork Conferences, Icelandic Fisheries & Aquaculture Conferences and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage projects from concept to delivery, including onsite at UK and overseas events.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive promotion, sponsorship and delegate acquisition.
  • Research and develop cutting‑edge conference programmes.
  • Secure top‑tier speakers and key stakeholders fostering strong relationships.
  • Innovate new themes and identify future opportunities alongside our supporting associations and advisory boards.
  • Manage all conference operations on time and within budget.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven project management with high level of attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Self‑motivated team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; second language and driving licence desirable.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
