Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Childrens Residential Care Worker role at Esland.

Department: Residential

Location: Villa Farm - Shifnal

Compensation: £34,084 - £37,509 per year (including 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £12.95 to £14.60 per hour depending on qualification). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month. Shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep-ins. Rotas are given in advance. We operate a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Role

Vila Farm is a four-bed home offering crisis intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic care. Our young people receive high-quality care and support for their educational and emotional needs, as well as engagement in their hobbies and interests.

Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Home Support Worker
  • A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
