Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, and a professional qualification (e.g. CEng, IEng, CITP) or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in CCS&C engineering with a track record of successful projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to present complex information.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to innovate in CCS&C challenges.
  • Passion for rail safety and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise on rail systems engineering, primarily CCS&C.
  • Lead research and innovation projects related to CCS&C, including standards development.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
