Contract: Permanent (full time).

Night shifts, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit
  • Support with clinical duties, including assisting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans and keep accurate records
  • Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, responsible for all shift handovers
  • Help with training and supervision of new staff members
  • Build relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and district nurses
  • Assist residents with a range of personal care duties
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care (we support completion if required)
  • Motivated, positive, with great interpersonal skills, enjoys working in a close‑knit team and pivotal in running a unit
  • Previous experience in the role with knowledge of rewards and challenges, and a passion for making a real difference to people's lives
