Are you an experienced Business Analyst ready to take the next step? We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing IT team at Reassured! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping products and services that deliver real value to our customers.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to capture, analyse and document requirements for strategic initiatives. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Leading requirements engineering activities for new software features and information systems.
• Translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
• Managing product backlogs and supporting prioritisation of work items.
• Acting as the link between business stakeholders and IT developers, monitoring scope and managing expectations.
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing and identifying opportunities to reuse existing functionality.
• Acting as a proxy for stakeholders during development when required.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally at senior level.
• Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation and Agile frameworks (SCRUM).
• Ability to create process diagrams, prototypes and high-level designs.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office; familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
• Bonus points for SQL skills and experience in Financial Services.
