About therole:

We are currently looking for a dedicatedand skilled individual to join our Environment and RegenerationDirectorate as a Senior Assistant Engineer. This permanentposition is based within the Engineering Team at The Quays,Baglan Energy Park. As a Senior Assistant Engineer, you will playa key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions forour community.

In this role, you will be responsible forthe management of the coal tips, providing technical services toboth internal and external clients, supporting the team inspecialist areas, and overseeing the implementation ofengineering schemes from design through to completion. Key dutiesinclude preparing and reviewing contract documents, supervisingconstruction and maintenance projects, and ensuring compliancewith relevant health and safety standards. You will also beexpected to manage project budgets, liaise with stakeholders, andcontribute to the continuous improvement of technical andmanagerial systems within the team.
