Job summary

A leading education training organization is recruiting for a SEND Trainer in the Liverpool City Region. As the first point of contact, you will support learners in achieving their qualifications. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of learners, delivering educational qualifications, and utilizing an e-portfolio system. A Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs is essential, along with strong communication skills and IT competence. This position offers flexible working and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Essential to have a Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Work experience in education advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport required.

Responsibilities

  • Support learners to reach their goals and complete qualifications.
  • Provide support to learners across the region, both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Deliver a range of adult education qualifications.
  • Utilise an e-portfolio system for managing the learner journey.

Skills

Experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
IT competence with Microsoft Office
Experience in education
Managing own caseload

Education

A Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities or equivalent
Assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33/CAVA)
Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS)
