SEND Learning Support Assistant - 10 hours

Job Ref No. ECC2971-103. Position Type: Teaching/Child Support. Pay Range: Scale 3 Point 5-6.

Position Start Date: 23/02/2026. Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2026. Working Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 1:00pm‑3:30pm, term time only.

Application Close: 28/01/2026. Interview: w/c 2nd February 2026.

Actual Salary: £5,768.57 - £5,860.11 depending on qualifications and experience.

Role Overview

As a SEND Learning Support Assistant at Kents Hill Infant Academy, you will support pupils in Year 1 to have an outstanding educational experience and foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils in Year 1 with daily learning and classroom activities.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and resource management.
  • Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils with SEND needs.

Qualifications
