Job summary

A leading education provider in Oxford is seeking an SEN Tutor / Mentor to design and deliver personalized learning sessions for young learners. This role involves working one-on-one with students in their homes or specialist settings, aiming to inspire and support those with special educational needs. They offer £25–£35 per hour, along with travel subsidies and a dedicated support team. Ideal candidates will have experience in education and knowledge of safeguarding protocols in a compassionate and flexible environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as teachers or SEN specialists supporting young people.
• Background in Primary, Secondary, or specialist SEND environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Working 1:1 or 2:1 with children and young people in their homes or specialist settings.
• Planning and delivering creative educational sessions in Maths and English.
• Engaging with students who may have ASD, ADHD, and complex needs.
