Role
Responsibilities
  • Support a pupil with moderate needs who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Help deliver the individualised provision outlined in the child’s EHCP, supporting social, emotional, and academic development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and contribute to creating an enabling learning environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Compassionate, experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant.
  • Ability to learn, implement innovative strategies and demonstrate patience and empathy.
  • Willingness to participate in training and development.
Working arrangements

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 3:15pm with a 30 minute lunch break (26 hours and 15 minutes per week). Term-time only position which includes non-pupil days.

Salary

Salary: £15,560.21.

Stisted Church of England Primary Academy, part of Canonium Learning Trust, is a small primary in Stisted, 10 minutes from central Braintree. The school has been recognised by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ and has a Montessori classroom for pupils with additional needs.
