A local educational institution in Dundee is seeking a temporary support staff member to work 28 or 30 hours per week during term time until July 2026. The role requires relevant office experience, including phone and email communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ideal candidates should have 3 National 4s including English and Maths, along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality. Training opportunities are available.

You will have 3 National 4s, or equivalent, to include English and Maths, with a current first aid certificate and food hygiene qualification or be willing to gain this.
As part of a cohesive support team, you will provide practical and clerical support service throughout the school day. You will provide support within the school office and practical subject departments throughout the school.
You will have relevant experience in a busy office, including phones/reception, email and printing, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word along with experience of working with young people or customers. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, to work as part of a team and work with minimum supervision with a willingness to undertake training. This post is Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
