Job description

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a well-regarded independent international school situated across two sites in South West London. This welcoming, non-selective school provides a unique and vibrant educational environment, delivering a holistic curriculum to students from early years through to sixth form.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join the pastoral team. This is a part-time position, with flexibility on start date—either immediately or in August, depending on availability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all student health needs, including in-school vaccinations and health consultations.
  • Providing medical guidance and training for teaching staff.
  • Screening younger students and supporting the school’s safeguarding practices.
  • Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
  • Supporting the development and review of health-related policies and undertaking relevant administrative tasks.

Candidate Profile:

The School is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RSCN) with:

  • A genuine passion for supporting the health and well-being of children and young people.
  • Previous experience in a school nursing or paediatric setting.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Swedish (verbal and written) is preferred.
  • A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach.

Employment Package:

  • Part-time role.
  • Competitive, individually-negotiated salary.
  • Visa sponsorship and three-year work visa funded by the school (if applicable).
  • Relocation and travel support available for overseas candidates.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and inclusive school community and really make a difference to the health and wellbeing of its students.
